Hotel and Apartment Fit-Out

The BuildConsult team were initially engaged by Probuild to undertake the full novation process of 30 + subcontractors and suppliers from the outgoing fit out contractor. The team was then engaged by Buildcorp to undertake the same process due to Probuilds administration event.

Our services did not only entail contract administration work but saw a team of 6 full time staff, managing the full process which included:

  • Subcontractor initial engagement

  • Cost to Complete and Pricing schedule setup

  • Amendments to SOW’s

  • Chair meetings with subcontractors

  • Heavily involved in Client progress and strategy meetings

  • Programme assistance for new starting subcontractors

  • Extensive logistics coordination

  • Final subcontractor negotiations and managing contract executions

  • Process control systems to manage costs daily including day labour tracking

  • Extensive forecasting for the projects costs

  • On site ‘Hands On’ site management and driving delivery

  • Setting up QA procedure for Fitout contractors and undertaking QA checks for the client
